Nice staff Good catfish po boy. The tarter sauce is really tasty, not sure if it's homemade or store bought but it's good. Will return to try something different

Definitely a local spot and local gem! Everything is fried to perfection! The fried pickles were legit and the best I've ever had! So crispy and not soggy at all! We had the fried catfish, fried shrimp, fried flounder with fries and slaw. Our server was so nice and attentive. Give this local spot a try and get away from all the commercial chains. We will be back!

We came to this place as a recommendation from our airboat driver at Spirit of the swamp tours. Captain Chris said we could get some great catfish here. since the family and I had never tried catfish we ordered the sampler which consisted of frog legs catfish, alligator tail and turtle. All of them were surprisingly good and nothing like what we w ere expecting. I've never had any of those before and the most surprising was probably the turtle which tasted just like a steak bite. Denise was our server and she was very polite and was the one that recommended the foods to us. For dessert we had the Frenchsilk pie, key lime pie, and peanut butter pie. it's a long drive down there but if we're ever in the area again we will definitely be back. The bathrooms were average, but smelled fantastic. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating means nothing went right.

After discovering another "Catfish place" closer to me. My wife and I had to make a visit to this location as we are both Southerners that enjoy fried seafood. This restaurant isn't owned by the same people in the St. Cloud location as the menu doesn't have the same options. The restaurant has a homey feel with the decorations and seating arrangements. Having the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce in a bottle on standby makes the experience less of a mess leaving out the plastic to throw away. The fried pickles were sweet and were great with the ranch and "spicy" ranch. I put the quotes around spicy because there wasn't a kick of spice to the ranch, but more so a spicy flavor. The entrees came out and oh were they a friendly portion! My plate was LOADED! I didn't know where to begin, but I knew no matter where I began, it was going to be delicious! What stood out to me was the frog legs, as most restaurants have the legs separated, as in this restaurant has the hind legs still attached! Everything was fried well and not dry. My sweet potato was pretty small, but was still good. The hush puppies were ok, and thankfully honey was nearby to help. I enjoyed my visit to this Catfish place location, and there is a lot of seating. There also appears to be stage with instruments for live performances. So on some nights, there may be loud music and a party going on!

We have passed my this restaurant for years but finally got the chance to try it! This place is a hidden Gem!! If you love deep fried fish and seafood this is your spot! It was really good! The outside matches the inside decor. Old Southern Collectibles can be found throughout the restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was awesome. If you check-In on Yelp, you can get a FREE order of pickle chips! They were delish and I loved the dipping sauces too. All our food was very crispy and seasoned to perfection.
